The Susan B. Anthony doll was released in 2020, marking the 200th anniversary of Anthony's birth and the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. Anthony was a champion of temperance, abolition, labor rights, and equal pay for equal work. She played a crucial role in the women's suffrage movement during the late 19th century. Notably, she was one of the first women to register to vote in the United States. She voted in the 1872 presidential election and was subsequently arrested at her home in New York. Additionally, she co-founded the National Woman Suffrage Association. Anthony did not live to see the passage of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote.
