Barbie has had many friends since she was created. However, it wasn't until Allan came along in 1964 that Ken had any buddies. In celebration of Allan's introduction's 60th anniversary, Mattel released a vintage reproduction on February 14, 2024. With a silkstone body for the first time, this doll wears an updated version of the outfit he wore when he first arrived on the beach, which inspired the costume design for the character, played by actor Michael Cera in Barbie.
