By 1923, Coca-Cola fans weren’t just sipping it at soda fountains or enjoying single bottles, they wanted to take it home. But carrying multiple glass bottles wasn't exactly purse-friendly. That’s when Coca-Cola introduced one of the most revolutionary packaging ideas in beverage history: the six-bottle cardboard carton, courtesy of the Empire Printing & Box Company in Atlanta.
