LIVE LOUD

In 1975, photographer Terry O’Neill captured Elton John in the closet of his London home wearing a vest and shorts, surrounded by a large collection of his platform shoes. On April 10, 2006, nearly 10,000 pieces of clothing from the closets of Sir Elton and husband, David Furnish, were put on sale to the public at Elton's Closet Shop in New York's Rockefeller Center for five days to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
