Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989, in a Christmas tree farm in Reading, Pennsylvania, where she lived with her parents and brother Austin. She reported feeling a bit lonely during that time. At 11, she won the local talent contest by singing LeAnn Rimes’ “Big Deal”. Inspired by country star Faith Hill, she fell in love with music, learning to play the guitar around age 12 and performing at local events.
