Anna Kikina
In 2021, cosmonaut Anna Kikina was honored with a Barbie doll in her likeness as part of Mattel's "You Can Be whomever You Want" campaign. The doll is available in two versions: one dressed in a blue flight suit inspired by the coveralls Kikina wore during her training, and the other in a doll-sized replica of Russia's Orlan-MKS extravehicular activity (EVA) spacesuit. Both outfits feature miniature versions of the same cosmonaut corps and Roscosmos patches worn by Kikina.
Kikina is the fifth professional woman from Russia to travel to space…

Kikina is the fifth professional woman from Russia to travel to space and the first Russian to fly on Elon Musk's SpaceX to the International Space Station (ISS), which remains one of the few areas of collaboration between Moscow and Washington, despite the deterioration of relations following Russia's military actions in Ukraine.
Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, who inspired the 1965 Miss Astronaut doll, was the first woman in space, having traveled into orbit on June 16, 1963. Kikina joins other astronauts who received their own dolls, such as Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti and Katia Echazarreta.
