Gabby Douglas made history as the first woman of color to secure the Olympic gold medal in the gymnastics individual all-around competition. During the 2012 Summer Olympics, Douglas, at the age of 21, clinched two gold medals, propelling her to further success when she returned to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics, where she claimed her third gold medal.
