From the outfit to the makeup, from hair to accessories, the Nicks Barbie reflects the singer's personal concert gear, referencing her classic stage outfits from the late 1970s onward, or as she put it, her "Rumours-era" self, with the black chiffon dress and flowing sleeves directly modeled after the outfit she wore on the 1977 Rumours album cover photo, taken by Herb Worthington.

Nicks joins a list of several other musicians honored in the Barbie Music Series, including Tina Turner, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, and two David Bowie dolls.
