With a retail price of $75 and available exclusively to Barbie Fan Club members for a few days, the 2017 Andy Warhol Barbie doll represents the third collaboration between Mattel and the iconic artist's foundation, each showcasing unique aspects of Warhol's artistic style. This particular doll is inspired by Warhol’s 1986 Barbie portrait, reflecting his signature artistic vision and enduring fascination with pop culture icons, including Marilyn Monroe, from whom he drew inspiration to create several artworks.

The series debuted in 2015 with the launch of the inaugural doll, a Platinum Label Limited Edition Barbie that captured his likeness, followed by a second Barbie in 2016, which was inspired by Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s Soup imagery.
