Designed by Andrew Mukamal, this Styled by Design Barbie is another addition to the collection (see dolls 1, 2, 3) and celebrates the Fashion Stylist, Brand Consultant, and Television and Web Personality. It was inspired by the Day to Night doll, introduced in 1985, which emphasized fashion versatility as a defining element. With three different looks, this release marks the first in the series to offer multiple styling configurations, reflecting a narrative of transformation across public-facing moments.

Mukamal also collaborated with actress and producer Margot Robbie, who played Barbie in the 2023 film, immersing themselves in some of Barbie’s most iconic outfits and curated vintage pieces, then approached designers, from Giorgio Armani to Donatella Versace, to create looks inspired by the doll-size originals. They also worked with renowned fashion photographer Craig McDean to photograph Robbie in the curated looks: Schiaparelli in Los Angeles, Vivienne Westwood in London, vintage Chanel, and beyond for the Barbie: The World Tour book.
